Warm Jackets For Boys

In my homeland of Canada they are very popular for obvious reasons. Generally you can get a lot of different styles of winter jackets. As a man I personally love to wear big parka coats because I've been wearing the standard issue mans winter peacoat for years and I hated them. In Canada we have absolutely the worse winters you can imagine, and i spent my whole life here. Yet when I started working, like most men, I wore these shitty little winter coats (if you can call them that), which were quite possibly the worst coats you could imagine wearing in the 30 below-zero weather.

So I finally invested in a proper coat, a North Face parka jacket for 0. I considered the famous Canada Goose brand, they are insanely popular now but way overpriced and a bit bulky for my liking.

I like all kinds of colour of coats. black seems to be the most popular style in the winter right now. You also see a ton of those fur hooded coats but I'm quite particular and I don't particularly like that style. Too eskimo-like for my tastes.

The down jackets are quite popular too. Mine has it but doesn't quite look "downy" cause its not that puffy, or garbage-bag looking.

The thing about men's coats in this country is that well-priced quality coats are hard to find. I find most men wear those light peacoats and all who wear them look so obviously cold. Well I'm thrilled now because I have a Russian ushanka hat picked up in St. Petersberg that's incredibly warm and stylish to boot. I'm looking forward to wearing it with my North Face coat.

I would imagine that most men are quite particular about mens coats, in terms of price, size, colours etc. Wouldn't it be great if there was an online retailer that specialized in winter coats. True the store retailer would be up against the big boys who see their own coats online - MEC, Columbia, North Face, etc. Those are all amazing coat manufacturers.

The good thing is, men's coats vary a lot. You get winter coats that are appropriate for formal occasions. Then you have winter coats that are better for those snowy windy days at the hockey rink. And then you have ski jackets which are whole other sub-genre of winter coats. Don't even get me started on womens coats. And then there's the many variety of winter coat brands There's MEC, Canada Goose, North Face, Sierra Designs, Columbia, Spy, Couloir, Keely, and many many more.
